It was our first trip to Argentina and the Hyatt proved to be a great starting point for us before seeing the rest of the country. All aspects of the hotel, the service, the rooms, the restaurants and the spa are top notch. The concierge service was especially helpful in suggesting restaurants and various itineraries. We would definitely recommend this hotel... More

Far from cheap (try using Hyatt points!), this is a truly spectacular hotel in an excellent location. The main public areas are in a beautifully restored mansion while the rooms are in a stunning tower with beautiful gardens, terraces, etc in between. Located on one of the best streets in Recoletto, only the Alvear Palace could come close and we... More

This was our fifth time staying at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and the hotel never ceases to impress. The property is charming and quite impressive, especially the courtyard, pool, art gallery and restaurants. We stayed in a suite in the newer building and thoroughly enjoyed all of the space. What we particularly enjoy is the service. We are always... More

I thought the Park Hyatt Sydney was as good as it gets, but the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires gives it a run for it's money. The hotel layout is somewhat confusing. There is an old section and a new section that back up to each other. In between is a beautiful courtyard and terrace. Both front different streets. So there... More

It was my third visit to Buenos Aires and the first one staying at the Palace Duhau. I was very disappointed, the room was very small, noisy and not up to standards for a 5 star hotel. The service overall wasn't good either, some of the staff members have a really bad attitude, probably due to a young lady who... More

This old palace has been converted to a hotel. Service is great and so is location. If you're looking for a high end hotel in Buenos Aires this among the top 2-3. Not your typical modern building, rather the building is a historic one with beautiful architecture. Rooms are nice but design wise they're nothing special or particularly local/authentic. The... I spent three nights in this hotel and while it is a beautiful property and well located, unfortunately the service they offer is not even close to in line with the nightly rate. The hotel staff is less than friendly and you can sense that something just isn't quite right. This is probably the result of less than satisfactory management,... More

One of the few hotels where pretty much everything is just right. The suites in the old palais are stunningly beautiful, the restaurant delicious, the garden a true oasis in the middle of bustling Buenos Aires, the Bar with a very fine selection of wines and they even have their own walk in cheese cabinet. Service is also top. For... More

It's hard to believe that there are 10-13 other Buenos Aires hotels that outrank the Park Hyatt. We stayed with my 1.5 year old daughter on a Hyatt Award stay (18,000 points/night) and had Diamond Status. I was upgraded to a small suite which was very posh and modern, albeit laid out in a unique way. The service was top... More
