Becasina can only be reached by boat, and on the journey out to it, the dozens and dozens of other lodges and vacation homes slowly thin out and disappear, and you keep going and going, crossing the Rio Parana, and heading farther back into the delta. We had a wonderful weekend at La Becasina. The bungalows are lovely and comfortable, you feel like you are hiding out in a luxurious jungle villa, but you are only an hour away by boat from a huge city!! The food is superb, the owners are truly wonderful hosts. The perfect place to unwind, relax and get a great massage!
