It's my first time to stay at hostel, and my Spanish is very poor. But it's very nice experience and I would like to recommend to everyone especially those come to Cordoba for Argentine Tango, because it's a perfect location to go to most of Milongas.

Pros: Location to the city center; good wi-fi; cheap in-house laundry service; good prices; reception desk staff are extremely helpful with travel & tour information and booking. Cons: This place can house a lot of guests, and therefore is crowded and noisy; kitchen is under-equipped for the large number of guests and the utensils need a refresh; computers are old... More

Stayed at the Aldea for one night and would basically sum it up as OK. Very busy, slightly noisy and not the cleanest. Dorm mattresses definitely could have been cleaner and at least have a liner on them. Saying that, in a good location, great value and good social scene. Definitely worse places to stay in Cordoba, but better ones... More

Breakfast is practically non-existing: there are stone hard bread rolls. And that's it. No jam, not even butter, no cereal, no juice. The showers get very wet and dirty once you use it, and they only get cleaned in the morning. Only 2 toilets for many many people. This hostel seems to attract many Israelis, who aren't the most social... More

We were originally looking for a different hostel but since it wasn't obvious we decided to stay here for 2 nights. We would have stayed a third night but we saw a sign for a party starting at 9pm and thought better of it - the place was packed. The staff were friendly and we were shown a number of... More

The hostel itself is good, and it could be great, but I felt that the staff were a little rude and unhelpful. If I went back to Cordoba I would stay elsewhere, probably in the Nuevo Cordoba area, where there is more happening.

We stayed 3 nights at Aldea. We arrived in early from an overnight bus from salta to realise that I had actually booked for the following week, not the days we needed. The guy on reception was really chilled and found a solution for us. We stayed one night in one of the back rooms of the hostel and whilst... More

Aldea came to be my favourite hostel, best choice i did-- They always had something good to do!! the volunteers/staff were very interesting people from all over the world, talking and partying with 'em was amazing! The interior design is also great, the murals, collages and paintings are amazing! - I liked that every week there was a different group... More

Really friendly vibe with super helpful staff who organise activities and onward buses etc. Simple but good breakfast included, and they host great home made pizza nights every week - cheap, all you can eat, and sooo delicious! Fast wifi throughout, you even get it in the bedrooms (also computers provided in case you don't have your own), and really... More
