We stayed there for one night and we had a terrible experience. The room was horrible. Cramped, no hot water and loud. It faced the road. The mattresses were very old and not supportive. The pictures on the website show an ambience totally different than what it is. One good thing: breakfast was very good. Only!

Also if you are planning to keep on going to CHile we have a bus company that picks you up at the hostel and takes you to Santiago de CHile directly, without having to go back to Mendoza or the village of Uspallata to take the bus!!! Ask as how!!How to get here…From the bus Terminal of Mendoza City, you should take the local bus line called EXPRESO USPALLATA (Booth 52) and purchase a ticket to Uspallata; there are several services during the day. (Mon – Fri 6:00 / 8:00 / 10:15 / 12:45 / 15:30 / 18:00 / 20:00 hs. // Sat – Sun: same services except for the first one that leaves at 7:00).It is very important that when you get on the bus that you tell the bus driver that you are getting off at the HOSTEL INTERNATIONAL USPALLATA that is "BEFORE" the village of Uspallata.The bus ride lasts about 2 hours and it’s a beautiful mountain route that goes along the Mendoza River.
