Hotel is a bit dated, carpets in the rooms are not the cleanest. Otherwise cleanliness was satisfactory. Staff was friendly, facilities good. The only real problem was the bed: quite old and hammock-like.

This hotel just seems like it belongs in a much larger city. Santiago del Estero is a lovely but small town, so this excellent hotel just seems almost "too much" for the town. Santiago del Estero is a lovely little city..blessed with the luxurious Carlo V hotel.
