I came and rested only to be awaken by the sounds of bats and the hammering of nails. ( I did not mind) The peace of isolation with nature all around is what we all humans could use. It's a prayer!

I'm sure back in the day this was a great place, the view is stunning. However Dave Parker has allowed it to go into decline. Bugs in the room, and musty. We saw rats outside. Staff was not helpful or welcoming.

We chose Dave Parker's Eco Lodge via the Samoan Hotel Association website for 4 main reasons; (1) Setting - Up in the hills above the rainforest (2) location - 15 minutes drive from Apia (3) Cost - One of the cheapest places just out of Apia (4) Good reviews on the TripAdvisor site. Great place to stay, a little hard to find as it is a little way out of Apia, bonus that it was between the sliding rocks and town. The swimming pool is tiny, but the rock pool was pleasant.
