After a horrible experience with another motel, (Kohl's Ranch Lodge, don't ever stay there) these people accommodated us at the very last minute of a very busy weekend. Everything was handled by the manager herself, who was absolutely great, as was the entire staff. They really went all out to help us. The room was nice and very clean. We... More

We stayed here for our anniversary at the end of April 2013. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were very clean and nice. Continental breakfast was better than your average with waffles and other goodies. They have a nice pool, but we did not use it. We originally wanted a patio/spa/fire place room and when I called they... More

After driving through Payson many times and seeing the Majestic Mountain Inn, we finally decided to stay a night. All the staff we encountered were friendly from the front desk to the staff in the breakfast room, to the pool guy! A nice touch in our double queen room was the fireplace and wood ceilings. The grounds and pool area... More

Majestic Mountain Inn Comfortable but lacking in attention to details: missing paint on bathroom door, cracked shower floor and sink, stale mints in the lobby, non-functioning key cards (they finally just gave us a managers key for our stay)... etc. The room (134) was spacious and comfortable and had a back door that opened onto a shaded grassy area which... We stayed at MMI our first night of our AZ trip in April. The front desk clerk, Carly, was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy, and pretty quiet, although the parking area was full by the time we checked in. Next morning we had the continental breakfast-cereals, bagels, fruits, toast, etc. Great coffee! Everything fresh and yummy.... More

We have been on the road from FL for 2 weeks, then on to CA and then up to MA for 6 more weeks -- without a camper! We are retired former innkeepers; it is imperative that we watch our pennies along the way. Although for the most part it's been OK, I am ever leery of certain motels and... More

I came for their basic room but moved up to fireplace and 2 person spa room and glad i did. Clean, big, many amenities and quiet. Thought two adjoining rooms were empty till next morning so nice soundproofing! Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Perfect location, barely on edge of town with lots of nice pine around. The drive up to Payson is beautiful, and even though the town is not very enticing, this property is delightful. We are on an "unchained" trip and only want to stay in privately owned places. This motel is one of the reasons why. It is immaculate and very comfortable. Our room had a patio on the side away from the... More

Even though this little gem has aged, it has been expanded and maintained in a lovely and high quality way. Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Rooms are great, I always book the deluxe with spa tub and fireplace, only a few bucks extra. Tons of room! There are restaurants next door in both directions, a steak house and a... More

Our family snow trip was interrupted by a car breakdown. We were forced to stay the night until the car was repaired. The Majestic Mountain Inn was recommended by the emergency responders. I believe the price was right for a clean comfortable room. We had a DVD player, mini-frig and breakfast included. What was more important was how well we... More
