We stayed for three nights at the Residence Inn Peoria in October 2011. The room was clean and spacious. The staff attentive. The pool was small, but a nice sport court where the kids played basketball. It was within walking distance of several restaurants. Even within walking distance to the Spring Training ballparks. This is a older Residence Inn property that has not yet been updated. The rooms are standard Residence Inn type with Kitchen area. They Just lack the Granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and other touches of the newer properties. My partner and I stayed here while visiting my parents. Location: Good place if you want to stay on the west side of the Phoenix metro area. The immediate area has lots of stores and restaurants in close proximity. Given the suburban pattern of development most would require a car, but I can't imagine anyone staying here without a car.... Staff are friendly and need more training. Bathroom maintenance not very good with poor caulking and mold on caulking. Housekeeping was so-so. Breakfast area was not kept clean during service. Pool was nice and hot tub was headed towards being disgusting. Will not stay here again... More

We were new to the area and found the hotel on the Internet and so happy we did. The check in process was easy and the staff were very friendly and informative, our $79.00 got us a lovely clean room with a fully equipped kitchen, and a great hot breakfast. More
