The suite was very nice and had everything you would need, full kitchen, sitting area etc. Breakfast was included and was your standard continental fare in the lobby.

We joined another couple this past weekend in Scottsdale for the Barratt-Jackson car auction, and thought this Marriott would be a good place to stay. It seems like hotels in the area really jack up their prices during auction week, and at a quoted price of $135 a night during high season (winter in Arizona) this appeared to be a...

For the basics, this location of TownePlace Suites just off Shea in Scottsdale does it well. Good bed, complete, yet small kitchen area, sofa bed and work desk. I had not stayed in the Townplace Suites concept of Marriott, so the description of the room is the same concept as Residence inn, but smaller and cheaper fixtures. Such as the...

Old, tired hotel. They made a billing error on my account and I had to make NUMEROUS calls to both the hotel and corporate....still dealing with it....overcharged by 500+.

I have not stayed in this brand of Marriott hotel prior to this stay and I'm not sure I'd rush do it again. I work in Long Term Care and truly believe the furnishings came from remodeled skilled nursing facilities. The hotel was clean but dark and it was tired looking. Overall, it was worth what was charged but a...

Don't expect too much or too little and you'll be fine. This is a limtied services property. Pool is in the parking lot. breakfast is cereal and yogurt. Simple rooms. Lowish prices. Good location for getting to spring training games but not a place you'd want to hang out at otherwise.

Having no hot tub is definitely a negative. The rooms don't have flat screen tvs yet. There wasn't much of a breakfast either. The lobby looks more like someones living room. The property definitely didn't live up to the marriott standard, even in comparison to other towneplace hotels

I booked this hotel because it offered a 2 room bedroom and had previously stayed at a TownPlace Suites in San Antonio. I was very disappointed with this hotel. The 2 room bedroom is very small, lights in the bathroom were very dim and hard to see, the refrigerator made a loud noise everytime it shut off, and the tv...

Check in was efficient and friendly. Room 222 was 1 Queen with a sleeper sofa and small, fully equipped kitchen. The room was clean, but a little bit cramped for three. We were only there to sleep, so it wasn't a big deal. It was essentially a small studio apartment. Refrigerator was a little loud, cycling on and off all...

Reading through the comments, I'm kind of surprised. We stayed a weekend here on frequent stay points and enjoyed it quite well. Had never stayed at a TownePlace Suites before. Very nice concept – especially for longer-than-usual stay. We kind of wished we could've stayed longer than a couple of overnights here, to be honest.
Teh suite (yes, we had...
