This place is part of so many great memories for so many people. It's a shame it's gone. For anyone who stayed here in it's heyday I don't have to tell you how great it was. The fourth of July parties were epic. I miss Mountain Shadows and the good times had there.

We stayed at Mountain Shadows Marriott Resort & Golf Club in December 2003 for a friends wedding. We enjoyed a day at the golf course, a couple of days at the pool and several meals at the restaurant. The restaurant was a bit expensive, but given it was a Marriott in Scottsdale, that is to be expected.

In my opinion, this resort is located in a prime location of scottsdale. The convenience of the resort was far more appealing than the outdated indoor and outdoor decor of the hotel.
