We recently attended a conference at the Marriott Buttes Resort in Tempe, Arizona. The grounds are great - pools and waterfalls and the hill-top views abound 360 degrees, but the rooms are mediocre and are in need of a refresh. They still have an 80's decor and design and could use a redesign. More

Just completed a cocktail and dinner event at this property - 90 guests. The hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Rooms are gloomy and the banquet rooms were reminiscent of a basement - very depressing hardware.
