Snow outside, log fire inside = comfortable and friendly. Loved our two night stay here. The only downside was the barman shutting up early as it was 'quiet season' and he only had a handful of customers. Room was chilly when we arrived but soon warmed up and was clean, spacious and comfortable. Very prompt service when a faulty coffee... more

I really like this hotel. Mostly because my room was new, clean, contemporary and spacious, but also because the lobby area is so cozy with a faux log home feel. Got a great AAA-rate for a spacious king bed room that had lots of niceties: comfortable overstuffed chair, spacious granite work desk with comfortable chair, free wi fi, cable TV,... more

We stayed for one night so we could hike the Grand Canyon. We wer met with very friendly front desk agent. We then needed some questions answered from the concierge who we chatted with for over an hour. Great STAFF! The room very very cozy and clean. The stay was perfect! more

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel through AAA. For whatever reason, there was an error for pricing and we got a room for $86 for TWO NIGHTS! We booked this hotel strictly on the price. Upon arrival we realized they were installing some new carpets and other fixtures, but it didn't effect our stay. The outside of the hotel... more

We stayed at the Grand Hotel and the experience for $90 a night was not good. The restaurant food was awful. Not much of a selection and there was no taste to it. The entertainment was not entertaining. The $22 steak was not great either. We then went into the room where the TV was fuzzy and tinted. The next... more

The rooms on the first floor had adamp and very unpleasent odor. You would be better off getting a room at the Best Western hotel which is located across the street, the rates are much better about $30.00 a night cheaper than the Grand Hotel, it is a much nicer hotel, with lots of activities for families with kids. The Grand... more

Stayed at the hotel on 12/10/09 and it is far from "grand". Hotel frontage which is very nice hides what lies behind. Hotel is badly in need of an upgrade. First room we were given was very noisy due to an extractor fan stuck on in the adjacent room. Both rooms very dingy and no hotel/guest info in either room.... more

My partner and I stayed at the Grand Hotel for 1 night booked through Virgin. The location is ok for outside of the National Park itself, Tusuyan is basically just a service town with a McDonalds and some hotels and little else. However if you want anything more or closer to the canyon you'll have to pay a lot more.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Hotel 1 night, October 10, 2009. With AAA discount, our non smoking, double queen sized room was $243.00/night. No one to help with bags, the check-in area was OK & clerk nice enough. It was down hill from thereon. Elevator was dirty & paint chipped; hall way to our room (#333) had... more

We stayed here for two nights, when we checked in at 3pm we were told our rooms were not ready. We asked if any other rooms were ready and we did upgrade to a balcony room for an extra $10 a night. The rooms were big,a bit dark, and our balcony was large (situated over the main entrance). We faced the... more
