We stayed for one night at this hotel and would return. Our room was in the annexe. The room was comfortable and the bathroom very good with lots of hot water! In the evening we ate in the lovely bright dining room and enjoyed an excellent meal. The grounds are delightful and you can take a pleasant meander down to... More

We stayed in the annexe which was very modern so can't comment on the main house. We had a lovely alfresco dinner taking benefit of the evening warmth. The service and menu were superb. The clientele were a good mix of locals and tourists which is always a good testament to a venue.

We always break our journey to and from our holiday gite at the L`Hermitage and they continue to maintain excellent standards of both food and accommodation. Madam and her staff are very friendly and work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We came upon this hotel by chance, great food, super friendly front of house staff. For the price should be three stars. The meal at the restaurant is quite big so if you only want a light meal it might pay to eat elsewhere. My only minor critique is each course came too quickly

Buzancais is a little off the main routes but just near enough if you are heading to or back from the Languedoc, the Pyrennees or towards Southern Spain. The Hermitage is a delight. The staff were all extremely helpful at all times. The rooms are relatively simple, as one would expect in a hotel in this category, but are comfortable... More

We chose this hotel for its convenience in breaking up a longer journey. As a Logis Hotel we expected a certain level and were not disappointed. The beds had that traditional french feel to them, but the food was good and the ambiance even better. We particularly liked the riverside location.

We are regular travellers between south west France and the UK and like to break our journey with an overnight stop. Of all the logis and auberges that we use, L’Hermitage is consistently reliable. An over night stop here transforms a boring journey into a treat. Charming, spotless and comfortable bedrooms (even those in the annexe), excellent restaurant serving delicious... More

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always found the owners and staff to be very welcoming. The rooms have always been very clean, the restaurant a little formal, but the food very good on the set menu. The Brenne National park is about 25 minutes away and we have combined our stop overs with some... More
