This is my 5th trip to Turpentine Creek and the second trip where I actually stayed on site. I stayed in the Siberian room with 3 beautiful tigers right outside my window. All the money from staying here goes right to the animals of TC. My favorite part about staying is especially after closing time when the lions start caroling... More

I love Turpentine Creek. The people are wonderful and treat every person there special. This is a wonderful organization and I love how they are working toward putting every lion, tiger, cougar, or bear in a habitat and not in a cage. I recommend staying in the Safari lodges. They are peaceful yet you can hear the lions caroling. The... More

An african safari adventure without the expensive plane ride right in our back yard! The lodging enables each visitor to listen to the lions caroling throughout the evening, and offers free admittance to the refuge itself. We have stayed in the safari huts which are wonderful - really unique housing. They come complete with a/c, a gas stove for heat,... More

I stayed in one of the safari lodges for Easter. It was very peaceful - the view was amazing and hearing the lions roar was a wonderful way to fall asleep. I enjoyed hearing all the rescue stories on the tour the next day and seeing big cats enjoying their habitats. The safari rooms are made to look like a... More

Took my grandson to Turpentine Creek for 2 1/2 days for his twelth birthday. We stayed in the Siberian suite which is just outside the fench where the three tigers are housed. We sat at the window enjoying our meals and watching Donna, Wings and Pebbles. The accomodations were great and the staff was the best. This will be a... More

My husband and I just returned from our second trip to Turpentine Creek, as usual the stay was fabulous. We have found this is the perfect weekend trip for us to just get away by ourselves and enjoy the atmosphere of TCWR. We love the Safari lodges, they are perfect for a couples getaway or if you just want some... More

My family has been to TCWR a few times before & we're big supporters of their work. (Well, as big as we can afford.) This was the first time that we stayed there & I'm already planning our next trip. We loved this unique experience. Where else can you hear lions & tigers while you're falling asleep?! The real bonus... More

This was the most unique lodging I have ever experienced. I would recommend to anyone staying in the Eureka Springs area to book one of the Safari lodge rooms. The accommodations are wonderful and the added bonus of the sitting out on the deck at night listening to the lions can't be beat. The view from the deck is specular... More

The accommodations were better than many hotels I have visited. Not to mention the atmosphere. I highly encourage anyone who is in the NW Arkansas area to take the drive to Turpentine for a visit. If you want the "whole" experience, stay in one of the suites. Well worth it! Thanks to all the staff and cats for a wonderful... More

We have been to Turpentine Creek several times in the past but we usually use the RV spots. This time, we decided to stay at the Siberian room. Though the room is in a little need of repair, it is still well worth the money you spend. I paid $150 for the one night and we took our Grand Daughter... More

Children 4-12, seniors 65 and over, and veterans - $10.00. Children 3 and under admitted free of charge. Our group rates are: Bus Drivers and Guides are always free. Your admission is good for all day, and includes a walking tour of our newly opened natural habitat areas as well as a self-guided tour of the cats in our main compound. The time you spend in the main compound can vary from 10 minutes to over an hour, depending upon how much time you spend in front of one cage or another. The walking tour of the habitat areas is about a 30 minute guided tour and they are scheduled every hour on the hour from 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. The self-guided portion is all walking, but there are benches throughout to rest. We do have a wheel chair to borrow if needed. The guided tour is also walking, unless special assistance is needed and we can accommodate people with a riding tour on our cart (which carries five maximum). For large groups we will be happy to put one of our staff on your bus to give you a guided tour of the large habitat areas upon special request. Most of our staff are Biologists or Zoologists that come from all over the world to learn how to work with the Big Cats. Our tree house bungalow rents for $150/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 5 or older. It sleeps two on a "clicker sofa" downstairs, and it has two twin beds tucked under the eaves in the loft. Generally, it is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Although small, it also has full kitchen facilities, a wrap-around deck and is quiet and secluded. The cats are located only a few yards away in some of the larger enclosures. Children under 5 years old are not allowed in Tree House due to TCWR's safety policy. Our two Bed & Big Cat suites can accommodate up to four people, with a queen size bed and fold-down clicker couch. Price is$150.00/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 3 or older. Babies are welcome at no additional charge. Both rooms have cats right outside the window, and are open year-round. Each room has an exceptional personality, along with snugly spa robes, luxurious bedding and linens, coffees and coffee pots, continental breakfast, color TV / DVD player, refrigerators and microwaves and clock radios. For rainy days or after hours, the rooms also have their own collection of favorite games and books. Cast iron fireplaces and air conditioning keeps you comfortable during the changing seasons too. Each room is also furnished with African Drums for those who care to start a drumming! Along with the spacious hot tub, the units share a 40' Octagonal Deck, complete with a charming covered Gazebo and Fire Pit. Tables and chairs surround the area for comfortable relaxing or light dining. These units are intended for adults only due to TCWR's safety policy.
