My husband and I stayed here for two nights over Easter. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. We arrived at 3.30, but there was no one around to check us in; despite ringing the bell and the phone number provided. I left a message to say we’d be back at 4, but at 4.10 when we arrived back there... More

My friends and I we were visiting Achill Island and Connemara. Weekend trip. Passing trough the Letterfrack village we decided to stay overnight. Letterfrack Lodge was our firs choice and it was a bull’s-eye. 20 Euro per person. Double room with private bathroom. Clean. Hot water and comfy beds. You really don't need more. Kitchen where you can find everything... More

Letterfrack lodge is one of the most welcoming places I have ever visited. The owner, Mike is an amazing character and is so helpful in suggesting what to do/ where to go. If you're lucky he will take you out down to Mollys or cook you some fresh mussels from his mussel farm. The staff are all welcoming and helpful,... More

STAYING 1 – 2 NIGHTS – cheapest accomodation in the village, cheap great buffet breakfast, large kitchen facility, crazy friendly staff, free wifi, rooms to fit everyones needs – luxury spacious rooms for the family or bunk beds for the cheap traveller.... I stayed here in june with a couple of my friends. Since then I have been in many places in Europe but will still come back to this hostel as being the best and cheapest i've stayed in so far. The owner Mike gave us so much tips about walks and even climbs to do..and beautiful beaches to visit. Breakfast... More

We had planned to camp in the hostel gardens for one night but due to the weather we were easily swayed to stay in the hostel. We ended up staying for 2 nights and coming back later in the same trip for a further 2 nights. The rooms are of a hotel standard and the common facilities like kitchen, dining... More

We showed up without a reservation and were given accommodation for two nights. Our room was clean and neat with bathroom next door. The shower was easily the biggest of any hostel we've visited, with a full tub. The common areas were well furnished and clean with great Wifi throughout the common areas. The Wifi didn't reach our room, which... More

Good, basic accommodation, excellent value, handy to have free wifi, good bathroom faciliites, comfortable beds, very quie at night, very little traffic, friendly and helpful staff. It would have been nice to have a glass provided in the bathroom and a rubbish bin in the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a top hostel, really relaxed friendly vibe, clean and a great location in Letterfrack village which was perfect for us to explore Connemara. Staff were helpful but not in your face and gave us lots of ideas of things to do in the area when we asked. We only planned on staying one night but stayed for three... More
