Not located in the hub of a touristy area, the Quinta is a very nice place, about 5 km out of town with a fine view. Easily reachable, it is still very rural and quiet. We stayed for a week. Weather was warm, so we spent a couple hours each day at their pool. The maids brought us cherries and wine and pastries and we didn't even ask for them. The owners and staff went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. An endless supply of great tasting food is provided at each and every meal. We only arranged a dinner there but it was enough to see how polite were the staff, and how very nice was the place, building and surroundings. Food was excellent and there were a lot of old details in the house. The only inconvenient was that it was very cold in december, not enough heating.
