We spent a night here on the way back from a week in Cornwall. For £28 on a Saturday night, we felt that the room was really good value for money. With the money saved, we could spend a bit more on a nice breakfast in Padstow. The location is good, just off the A39 and some of the rooms... More

I stayed here on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend when no local B & B would accept our booking unless we stayed for two nights. We were starting a long distance linear challenge walk from Wadebridge and only needwd the one night's accommodation. We only paid £25, amazing value. Like other Travelodge hotels the room was rather spartan... More

If you are expecting the standard basic travelodge that does what it says on the tin for not much money, this is the place for you. If you are expecting amazing things just because it's new, keep looking. I'm really not sure where some of the other reviews about it being the best travelodge ever come from. It's £45 a... More

We stayed here for some of the Easter weekend. It appears to be a relatively new Travelodge and is very clean. The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk (as long as you are going downhill :)) into Wadebridge, where there are a few places to eat and drink. We stayed for the proximity to Padstow as it was either... This hotel is great for retreating to after a day on the beaches of Cornwall. I have spent many evenings here after a long day in the sun. There is a good pub on the side and is easy to get to. A travel lodge is only meant for somewhere to sleep not somewhere to go an enjoy being at.... More

Title sums it up, book early and it's cheap, the properties are generally basic but comfortable, and on this occasion, staff were friendly and helpful. The Falcon opposite is a good place to eat on the 2 for 1 deal, and serves reasonable real ale. For me, the great thing about Travelodge is the 'accessible' rooms, with a wheelchair bound... More

Stayed here for an overnight trip as visiting nearby Perranporth. Very welcoming receptionist who recognised my daughter and son-in-law to be who had stayed there on two previous occasions. They had a family room to accommodate them and their young daughter so had the benefit of a bath and shower which was appreciated. The room and ensuite fittings reminded me... More

very basic to the point i think we were lucky to have a bed in the room, very uncomfortable paper thin pillows no curtains only a blind that keeps no light out at all. priority seemed to be the bottle opener on the side of a peice of wood (cant call it a dresser) no toiletries, needed a magnifieing glass... We stayed here on our way down to Newquay as we have enjoyed our previous stays at this hotel. We were not disappointed, the check in staff were excellent and quick. The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The heating was efficient as it was very cold outside. We did not hear any noise what so ever.... More

I know we are in an age of austerity but Travelodge seem to be taking us all back to the standards of the hostels (note not hotels!) of the 60's. It's clean but so, so basic - no "frills" whatsoever - apart from a bottle opener attached to the"dresser" - but that says it all! No toiletries, no hairdrier (to... More
