Stayed for 2 nights in Rafters which was fantastic the bedroom was beautifully furnished with one of the most comfy beds ive ever slept in !! the bathroom was lovely with a huge bath and all the little luxuries you expect with a top class hotel not a B&B. Rafters also has a seperate living room with a big inglenook... more

One word for Althea House...PERFECT!! We have just returned from a 4 night stay in Althea House B & B. We stayed in Rafters, which had its own private lounge with widescreen TV with freevew, large comfy sofa and dining table (where your breakfast is served each morning), wi fi access, fridge & tea making facilities. The bedroom which has... more

My husband and I have just returned from our stay at Althea House, where we stayed whilst visiting my son [who works at Custard, which I would highly recommend also!!]. We will certainly recommend Althea House to anyone. The accommodation, service and food were all impeccable. The attention to detail and those little extras was wonderful. Althea House well deserves... more

I needed somewhere to stay for 6 nights in Padstow and being recently widowed the thought of staying in a hotel and going down for breakfast on my own was daunting to say the least. Then I found Althea House B&B. The Inglenook Room was for a single person and your breakfast was brought to your room. PERFECTION was THE... more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood room, which in reality is more of a suite than a room with living area including a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs, fridge and wide screen TV. The town of Padstow with all its delights was only a 4 minute stroll away. Parking is provided which I would imagine is particularly useful... more

We stayed in 'rafters room', beautifully decorated and a gorgeous bath. It has its own private living space where a wonderful breakfast was served - 5 stars more

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at Althea House B&B earlier this month, and I had to write a review as we were so delighted with the quality of the hotel and the service that we received. They have thought of all the little comforts that you would hope for when staying away from home, and the breakfast... more

A wonderful home from home. Neil made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail and the extra touches really made the experience for us. The accommodation is only a couple of minutes from the centre of Padstow and has the added benefit of parking. Breakfast was always wonderful and plentiful, and with lots of excellent seafood reataraunts on your... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Driftwood room. The room was really spacious, with a comfy king size bed and separate lounge area with table and chairs. Breakfast was served in our room which was a really nice touch as it meant you could stay in your pj's and didn't have to drag yourself to a dining room! Neal... more

On arrival, we were greated by the owner who made every effort to ensure that our stay would be a great experience. The accomodation was excellent, even better than the picture on the website. Breakfast was served in the separate sitting room and was excellent both in quality and quantity - the choice was extensive and it was served at... more
