Really nice welcome, thoughtful (they had an event so put us on the top floor away from the 'noise'), nice room with character. A refreshing change to the chain hotels/ 'generic' fit out one experiences these days.

Pleasant hotel in a good central location. In need of updating which it is about to undergo to. No parking but reasonably priced parking about quarter of a mile away. Not amazing but I was working in the area and it was very suitable.

We stayed overnight whilst attending a wedding elswhere. The hosts were very helpful and frendly - the room which was at the back on the 1st floor overlooking the garden was of a good size and comfortable. The owners are aware that the hotel needs a bit of a makeover but it represents good value for money

The Bishops Table is very centrally located and not that far of a walk to the train station if you kow where you are going.
