We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel as part of a Great Rail Journey tour. The location is fine and the staff were friendly - however ..... The first room we were allocated had a view of a roof and was over the kitchen which had an extremely noisy extractor system; the room stank of cooking fat and the... More

We had a one night DB&B deal at this hotel and were disappointed. The location and building are grand with large public rooms and stunning views. This is not matched by the below standard food on offer in the tired and shabby restaurant. Beautiful views over the loch could not compensate for a diner menu no better than a local... More

Living social deal.....customizing deal? Not this. Kettle lead not long enough for plug socket so had to boil it on the floor. Hardly any toilet roll provided, requested it but still waiting (yep, writing this in the hotel) and our view, right onto a flat roof with building across. It says views of mountains or loch....ummmm. Worse, I think we're... More

Thank you for your review following your stay with us. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have taken note of your housekeeping issues and aplogise for the lack of essential items within your bathroom. Your request for more toilet paper and not being delivered was an oversight on our part and certainly not... More

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night on a short road trip around the Highlands. The Good Lovely large clean room with amazing views of the Loch, four poster bed, old world Scottish Highland feel in the older part of the hotel…room 204 I think it was. Hotel has a stunning location over looking Loch Linnhe and nice walks... More

Keeping it short: 2night stay (leaving tomorrow) Location brilliant, view from our room beautiful and customer service equally great. I really cannot fault the hotel in anyway and even when the obnoxious bald guest was rude to some staff they dealt with him professionally and courteously (this guy was vile in my opinion). Go, it's got old charm and a... More

Enjoyed overnight stay in this hotel but beware there is no lift and there are at least three floors! You really need to be quite fit to manage these stairs with your luggage - we were on the second floor and it was quite difficult. The breakfast was lovely but the evening dinner was OK but nothing to write home... More

This hotel has a nice aspect and reasonable location. The room was very small though and the hike up the stairs to the third floor a bit daunting. We dropped in to the hotel for a drink and to get out of the rain as we were considering a hotel in the area to book for the night.
