Party of four visited at lunchtime on 2nd May 2013. Food was excellent and great value for money. Found a hair on the side of one plate but wasn't near the food. Tasty, reasonably priced food. Will return.

Stayed in this hotel last minute as roads were closed due to snow. We got last 2 rooms in hotel and knowing there would be a high demand for these rooms still charged us a very reasonable price! Staff were very helpful and friendly! Food was lovely! Lots of stuff to do in town as well!! Would definitely return!!!

I loved the crown hotel and its food. There was food for all the family unlike other places in the city. The kids had two courses and we had three but they were oh so nice! My Wife and I had a lunchtime meal and returned 2 days later with the family for a further evening meal. Have to say each time had 3 courses and no problems. reasonable choice, good portions, tasty and good service.
