Hotel is nicely decorated. Close to main square. Breakfast is good, coffee and bread and cheese excellent.
Bathrooms with no vent or window....you will stink the whole room for hours.
Front desk manager (a woman) is very unfriendly and defensive about suggestions.
No credit cards accepted is a minus.
Other personnel very friendly.
Would not stay there again considering that...

I stayed with a small group in October, four rooms total. Three of the rooms were very spacious, one - a single room, was a bit cramped. Bathrooms were a bit small, but clean. The prices are very reasonable - ask for a double or suite instead of a single. The courtyard is beautiful, as is the mosaic tile on...

Just a stone's throw from the Plaza de Armas, this rambling hotel splayed around two central courtyards is a fine choice for travellers to Ayacucho. The hotel sports an adequate restaurant and provides quite a nice breakfast (included). Rooms are large and airy, though a bit fusty. There is copious hot water.
Ringing the lovely central Plaza de Armas are...

This is a very nice place for the area; don't try to compare the hotels/hostals in Peru to anything in America, especially those operated by the locals. This place is generally clean, the people are OK to talk with and understand English a little, and the prices are reasonable.
NOTE: Many of the properties in Peru--Lima and all the outlying...

Almost on plaza de armas, this simple hostal will suit all simple travellers looking for no frills rooms to rest while travelling between Huancayo and Cuzco. Beside, with its lovely Iglesias and a great museo, Ayacucho deserves a legal stop to itself. A Doble habitacíon costs 130 Soles mid july 2011. No website, but an email address you can try...

We had the great experience of staying in Ayacucho during Holy Week, and the Hotel Santa Rosa put us minutes from the town center, with almost non-stop processions and other events, while providing a quiet and charming retreat from the excitement. We are particularly grateful for the staff's graciously allowing us to keep our room well past check-out time so...

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter, will definitely stay there again if possible. Nice service, clean, spacy room, relaxing patio, very close to city centre.
We stayed two nights in this Ayacucho hotel which is considered the best hotel in town.
The hotel has an excellent location just 2 minutes out of Ayacucho main square. It has a garage for cars which is great since Ayacucho has limited parking options.
The staff was friendly, but not very competent, in my opinion.
Room was nice and...
