I was able to see the falls and Canaima lake from the room. The room was clean and comfortable. Tour guide and staff of the lodge was also kind. Meal was delicious. Price is higher in this region, but I was very happy.

We traveled as a family of 5 to this natural park in Venezuela called Canaima. As an european, I had never heard of it but it was highly recommend by our travel agent. Upon arrival we could tell why. Everything is delightful, the way we are welcomed, the rooms are big and the decoration is a continuity of all the... More

This is a nice boutique hotel, the staff is warm and helpful. When we arrived they offered us to spent the night in front of the angels fall in their camp, i assumed they were overbooked because i have only payed for the one day trip to the angels fall and the sleep over trip at the falls was more... Hello, Andreinita thank you for your honest opinion... We will focus on the things you dislike, the smell of the hamacas it’s a consequence for the humidity on the area, but we will make our best effort to keep this at a minimum... Could you please let us know the name of the guide so we can encourage him to... More

Lovely location within sight and earshot of the several waterfalls in Canaima lagoon. Accommodation was functional, rather than luxurious but the lighting in the rooms needs to be brighter as very difficult to see what one was doing. Good quiet air conditioner. Free Wifi in reception. No room safe. No TV but 5 bar mobile signal! Very helpful manager. I... More

Hello mps1948, Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we took your observation and we have changed all of the laps in our rooms. About the drinks, we do have beverages menus that you can request with the prizes on them. Prizes of the drinks are only a little higher than in the city, and this is... More

What a find! The stunning situation by the Canaima Lagoon overlooking huge waterfalls is unbeatable, and a hotel so well run is a rarity in South America. The rooms are very comfortable, the food excellent, and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. But of course the main attraction is the trip to the Angel Falls, an exciting and beautiful journey... More

Together with our 8 year old twin boys, we spent 3 days at Waku Lodge, including one night sleeping in hammocks at Waku's camp in walking distance to Angel Falls. Canaima is a fantastic place for vacations with kids - full of adventure, exercise and fun in the nature. The lodge is beautifully maintained, very well located and offers stunning... More

Very comfortable accommodation, good food and excellent service. The whole trip was very pricey, but no surprise given the exorbitant inflation in Venezuela at the moment. This is definitely a "lodge" rather than a hotel, so expect intermittent hot water and a rustic feel. Also, come with enough cash for tips - there is a bank in Canaima but the... More

Beautiful spot on the lagoon with the waterfalls. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean, but a bit worn. It was very damp with mould growing on the walls in the bathroom, but you are in a rainforest. All meals are buffet style, but very good with lots of staff to help. Alcohol is not included... More

The hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. If you can afford it, you must stay here. Food and service are excellent, location is great. Rooms are well equipped with AC and hot water. Hotel areas are clean and spacious within what seems to be a botanical garden (you can pick up guavas and mangoes among... More

Out of the hotels, posadas ,suites and resorts, we went to, this was my favorite. Upon arrival at the tiny airport, we were greeted by Isaac "(Senor Muerte") and his 2 young sons. We were each given a beaded necklace. The 5 or less minute drive took us to the reception area where we were given passion fruit drinks. I... More
