An oasis in the middle of nowhere! Clean, nice accomodation (incl. pool and bar), friendly people and also the food is ok. The rooms (called chalet) are on a wooden platform with a tent-style roof. The "camp" is located about 5 minutes away from Kolwezi Airport. I stayed one night (air crew) and very much enjoyed the cold sunset beer... More

“Friendly, clean, great service”

Not many places to stay in Kolwezi, but this is by far the best. I spent some 16 weeks here during 2012, while working in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious with mosquito nets on the beds, there is usually hot water, and free wifi is generally pretty good. The management has really made an effort to turn... More

“A small oasis in the middle of the DRC”

Your selection is pretty limited if you end up in this part of the world, but it's a relief when you get here. Staff are very friendly, you get your own cabin with bathroom and TV. Food is reasonable and there is a bar. This is as good as it gets for this location.
