Your search for a wonderful place to stay in Kumasi is over. I completely agree with other reviewers; Chris and Charity are excellent hosts. I strongly recommend a half day tour of Kumasi market with Comfort, she took us to stalls where we could bargain without hassle and for fair prices, we found beautiful cloth. I also recommend a day... More

Having traveled in Burkina Faso and Ghana for the past three weeks, staying in similarly priced hotels, it was indeed an absolute pleasure to walk into Four Villages Inn. The main areas are welcoming and comfortable. Chris and Charity Scott are the ideal hosts, our large room was well air conditioned & otherwise comfortable. The large bathroom even has a... More

Four Villages Inn was a very comfortable stop during our travels around Ghana. From the expansive porch out front, very comfortable room, to the lovely owners and staff - I couldn't have asked for a nicer spot. For a small fee- I had my laundry cleaned- which was a treat. Chris the owner brought us to the Brass Village -... More

I couldn't think of staying in any other place in Kumasi. The house and rooms were lovely and the pictures of the family all over the common areas add even more warmth to the place. Charity is a real force of nature: fun, funny, maternal and all around adorable. The staff was top notch as well. One of my favorite... More

I agree with the other reviews it is lovely, very welcoming, very clean but I was shocked n departure when I was told what I thought was 90 ghana cedi's per night was actually $90! So worked out 400 ghana cedi's which I feel is far too expensive. I hav lived in Kumasi for last 3 months and never been... More

We stayed at Four Villages Inn for 4 nights. Everything about the place was outstanding and reflected Chris and Charity’s expertise and personality. They had a wealth of knowledge about the area and an attention to quality and detail that was exceptional. The rooms were large and filled with local touches and information about the area. The lounge area had... More

We stayed in this excellent B&B during our travels in Ghana for 2 nights, and it was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 2 week trip. The owner, Chris, was very welcoming and helpful, with good advise as to what to see in the area. Four Villages is very clean, quiet, the rooms are big, and... More

Really made to feel welcome. A truly personal service. Highly recommended. Great DVD collection too! Highly recommend the Ghanaain traditional meal. Breakfast is delicious and proper coffee (brewed) is served. Don't accept credit cards so come prepared!

There may be bigger and fancier hotels, but as far as I'm concerned, there is no other choice in Kumasi than staying with Chris and Charity at the Four Villages Inn. Because that's what you feel like - their guests, who they are always happy to see and help in any way they can. I had the pleasure of staying... More
