A cool place sweet for picnics and weekend rest. They stock a variety of drinks, expensive though. the beach is covered with lots of hyacinth so fishing is not possible at the moment . They sell good fresh fish from the ponds.

KISUMU BEACH RESORT started operations in 1997. We are a family owned resort. The resort sits on approximately 20 acres of land on the shores of Lake Victoria. We are an environmentally friendly resort and are self sufficient in numerous ways. We grow our own fruits, make our own charcoal and have our own independent water supply. As we have built our hotel around nature, birds such as Fish Eagles, Egyptian Geese, Kingfishers, Egyptian Ibis, Black Ibis and Hammer Cops and a variety of river birds nest within the resort. Hippos grazing are a common site in the evenings. We have the capacity of catering for small and large groups for activities such as camping, conferences or private parties.
