Sabyinyo Lodge is an oasis in the mountains of Rwanda. I can't recommend the lodge or the gorilla trekking more highly. Sabyinyo is a roughly two hour drive from Kigali (the capital of Rwanda). Hosts were engaging, friendly and excellent service. Staff was first rate, get ready to be pampered, untill you hike to see the gorillas. They provided us with gaiters for mud and rain, sack lunch. When we returned, even though we were late returning from our trek, they cleaned clothes and shoes and fed us a great lunch.
