“Step back in time”

Great stop over. Retains historical feel without being "cutesy". Excellent breakfasts, welcoming hostess (without intruding on privacy). Very comfortable accommodation. Definitely on our list of places to return to. Only comments - better directions on websites would be useful, and more signage would make it easier to find.

We stayed for 2 nights at De Erf as part of a 3 week holiday around South Africa. We are really glad we ventured inland to see Graaff Reinet and De Erf was a great guest house to stay in.
