We booked this based on reviews on here, and weren't disappointed. 2 nights in a tent, I expect it's what's known as glamping - private tent on a deck, hot and cold running water, plumbing and a mini bar. 2012 was our second visit to Botlierskop, first time was in 2011. We love it there. We enjoyed our game drives and the guides were really well informed. The food is absolutely great! The tents are luxurious and well equipped. It is a bit pricey, but one does get spoilt, we'll hopefully visit annually.

The weather at this time can be a little chilly to do game drives but if you must do I would recommend this place. Our guide Viljoen was great at finding the animals for us. And gave us time to sit and watch them in the wild. I had a 6,10,12 yr old with us and they absolutely loved it.... More
