Chose Gondwana as have friends visiting from the UK and wanted them to have the experience of seeing game, and we were unable to travel to KZN or to Kruger. Although it was an expensive experience, I do not regret spending the money as my UK friends had a fabulous time. They particularly enjoyed the game drives with our brilliant... More

Good day Anne, Orla and Patricia. Thank you for the wonderful feedback on your recent stay with us. The game sightings recently have been fantastic and being a wild, free roaming reserve provides its challenges with game being given the freedom to move where they please, often eluding our talented rangers. It appears Delicious had the upper hand on them... More

I had the pleasure of spending a week at Gondwana and it was my best vacation yet. Accomodation facilities, friendly and efficient staff, food to die for and breakfast pastries which are absolutely sinful...one couldnt be spoilt more by total strangers. I experienced the wildlife up close in fact the very next morning, an Eland honoured me with his prescence... More

We love South Africa...we spent time at a game reserve in the Kruger a couple of years ago and it was one of he best experiences of our lives. This year we came in February to Cape Town to enjoy sun, wine, sightseeing and a safari. After research we settled on Gondwana which is a long drive from Cape town... More

5 star accomodations, service and food await you at Gondwana. I stayed in one of the villas and enjoyed 2 drives before making my way back to Cape Town. I unfortunately was not feeling well, but the staff was very accomodating and made sure I was taken care of. The experience is much different than where I had been near... More

Afternoon Lisa. Thank you for the feedback on your stay with us in March. It is a pity you did travel to us alone, and in the busiest family travel time of the year. Lodges are very personal and getting the balance right with solo travellers and families and other groups in house is critical. I am pleased that the... More

Undiscovered Jewel! We were very surprised about the whole facility: the beautiful nature surroundings, the food and the hospitality of all the staff. The house is comfortable, spacious and very clean. Stayed in one of the villas and we were blown away by the outstanding accommodations, meals and attention to detail. The reserve isn't overrun by tons of animals which was a bit of a bummer, but we did see some good stuff during our two drives... 2 hippos walking on land, elephant thrashing through the trees, to name the highlights....
