Probably the most esthetic lodge we stayed in in Tanzania! Beautiful cottages, grounds and outstanding service. The staff was very gentile. This lodge is a sight for sore eyes. The grounds are meticulous, the rooms spacious and the service is outstanding. Management really tries to think of everything so the rooms are very comfortable with coffee, tea and biscuits available. The view from the spacious terrace is breathtaking. It may be on the expensive side, but your stay will be unfortgettable!

We loved the spacious room, beautiful view and nice staff. If you take safari, hotel has a very nice knowledgable driver, but I think its better to hire some other company as the hotel charges higher fees.

Was it the pillow menu (seriously, what is a pillow menu?), the too-Western service (bow-ties... really?), the room the size of my Manhattan apartment (probably bigger actually), or the good (but not as good-as-it-should-be) food? I stayed at this new hotel in Jan 2013 for 2 nights.they have only about 20 villa style rooms which were sooo nice ! staff wee professional and friendly.the standard of the food was the highlight,simply superb.I personally congratulated the chef. This hotel was probably one of the best i satayed in my life. Friendly staff and very clean. The food is magnificent. I will recommend it to those visiting the ngorongoro. The views are spectacular and it is mosquito free! The staff are prepared to go the extra mile. Thanks.
