Was there for less than 24 Hours in Ajmer, hotel is near Railway station & other markets. Ajmer is not a big town. People are warm over there especially Lal Singh who was very helpful in his service. Mr Bhargava the owner was also very warm & caring person.

Booked this place for my parents and have stayed here myself. Pros are great home cooked food (extra charge), close to dargah. Cons poor housekeeping, dirty towels for example, rooms are not serviced, bathrooms could be better. Little on the expensive side for the quality of rooms you get.

The cheaper rooms really are over priced as they are in need of much TLC. However, they were clean, large and comfortable but not value for money. The evening meal, however, was excellent. I stayed in the Haveli with a group of friends during the winter of 2012 and wished I could have moved in. Lovingly prepared breakfasts and delicious dinners if you order in advance - and a family atmosphere that makes it feel like home. If ever I am able to return to Ajmer, I will want to stay there.
