Overnight at this hotel which is more like a youth hostel, with communal facilities and shared bathroom. Clean. Food was Jordanian and plentiful and the staff were friendly and anxious to answer questions. Beds were rather lumpy. Be aware that the 14 k trek down the wadi to Feynan, has a lot of steep slopes which are covered with loose... More

Although the hotel was very basic and no en suite bathrooms, it was adequate. If you lucky enough to get a balcony the view is amazing!! The breakfast was very traditional. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Bathrooms are neat and clean and have hot water. Beds squeek a tad but are comfortable.

Having just come back from Jordan, we highly recommend that visitors consider adding Dana Nature Reserve to their trip and stay at the excellent Dana Guest House run by the RSCN. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and a walk through the valley was a real treat. The country has some beautiful scenery that a welcome balance to the... More

We stayed just one night, but all the staff were really friendly and you could tell they were proud of Dana. Abdullah, the duty manager, was particularly friendly, taking amusing photos for us and teaching us a game like backgammon. He also made us some hot goats milk to celebrate our honeymoon! A chap called Ali T was also keen... More

We stayed here one night. We got a room with a balcony and private bath. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit out on the balcony. However, the view was terrific! The community room is comfortable, and the breakfast was very tasty. We loved our room and bathroom. The beds were clean and comfortable, good heat and a great shower.... More

This was our 2nd time staying at the guesthouse and its a decent place to stay with great canyon views(ask for a room with balcony) and I usually avoid anyplace with shared bathrooms but our previous visit there had been ok for one night so I agreed to stay again as I know they have good heating in the rooms... While my friend & I didn't stay there, the staff helped us out tremendously to get to the mountain top in knee-deep snow. AND they organised a private car to take us directly to the airport. We were snowed in on our single night at another hotel, so were stranded for 3 nights in this little village. While it was... More

We stayed here in December before hiking down to Feynan. The location is brilliant and the venue has a fantastic view. As with Mudjib Chalets and other RCSN venues you do need to pre- book meals. The dinner was very very good. Our room was great and the communal ablutions were also ok. Can thoroughly recommend the hike to Feynan... More

We stayed here coming from Wadi Rum travelling up North to the Dead Sea. The hotel is perfectly located with great views from the balconies of the hotel, the dining room and our rooms. We had two rooms, the one with the private bathroom for the parents and the one next door for our 3 kids. The rooms as well... More

The setting is lovely looking into the canyon but my room was awful (poorly lit with no balcony - in fact the lone window in the room looks directly into someone else's balcony). A shared bathroom was not expected. Fortunately this was only a one night stand. On arrival I was told the guided tour was not taking place. The... More
