Looking at the other reviews there is not much to add. A great idea to convert an old disused village. We have a similar village in North Wales. You do get the feel that the facilities are a little tired. Hopefully there are some refurbishment plans for winter 2009/10? We were very pleased to have stayed there as our needs... more

Taybet Zaman is an old 19 century village. So plenty of charm, especially in the evening and early morning when the sun rises over the desert, and in simple but elegant ethnic room decoration. We rented a car while in Jordan so this place was great. 20 min outside of Petra. Pretty setting and BIG comfortable room. Only minus points are: the shower leaked and the dinner and breakfast buffet were ok, nothing great. They have free wi fi and a bar which are both nice. They packed a decent sack lunch too. more
