“A surprise hidden in full view!”

I booked this hotel at short notice, thinking we would spend one night and move on. We were all so taken with the place and the owner Avelino, that we stayed an extra night. It is a fascinating hotel, very quirky, yet tasteful. Obviously done with an eye for detail, the quality of fixtures & fittings is second to none.... More

Hard to find, but worth a trouble...Hidden in the higher alleys of Luarca this is a small, very friendly hotel with different individually decoreated rooms - check few before choosing the one you like. Views are incredible and the Camine de Santiago walking trail goes just by. A bit of luxory before going to backpacking...Enjoy. The girls at the hotel... More

El Gurugu is a "tematic" hotel, meaning that every room is different and dedicated to a Luarca famous person (even a bus driver!). They are nice, warm and well decorated. Ask Avelino (the nice owner) to tell you the whole stories. The hotel is on the hill on top of Luarca and overlooking the mountains. We didn´t use tthe pool... More
