We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the stay very much. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meals were superb and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel for location and good value.

A late booking, for last minute bank holiday plans. A welcoming site after walking the mountains. Very comfortable, room was spotless, served all our needs and dog friendly. Lovely little place in a gorgeous little village! The hotel is in a perfect setting surrounded by mountains and the popular Ullswater!
