If you are a larger couple and are travelling with teenagers or children AVOID this Best Western. This hotel is in a great location just off of Big Bear Mountain RD. Walking distance to Restaurant's and convenience stores. If your ok with staying in a non traditional Cabin like spot. Your in luck! I love the bar that is in the hotel. Just wish it was open during the week. Thanks BW

Booked this for a one night whistle stop tour of the mountain!! Loved the cozy old school feel of the place, balcony and little fire in rooms. Loved the location because it was down the street from the lifts. The breakfast that was included was lovely and the hotel was very clean. The only problem was the lack of controllable air-conditioning and the noise in the room next door. I did call down to the front desk and I think they handled the noise issue.

Overall I'd say this place is fine. The facilities are okay. Everything is a bit run down. Some minor maintenance issues and game room and spa are outdated. Front desk was friendly and I didn't have the breakfast but actually looked pretty good.
