What a great place this is. The staff is all very friendly. I spoke with Jan, Todd, Brandon and Lorelei. They made me feel very comfortable. If you are looking for pristine, this is not your place. If you would think it would be neat to see an old VW bus in the parking lot, this is it. They have... More

Stayed here 1 night while doing Highway 1 from LA to SF. Lovely hostel. Very friendly staff (even came to get us when we almost miss bf time). Small but very lovely room. There is a kitchen for us to cook as well. Feel like home staying here. For us, Cambria kinda offers similar atmosphere like Carmel with many small... More

I was doing the drive from LA to San Fran and needed somewhere cheap to stay en-route. I thought my hosteling days were long gone but this place converted me. You couldn't find a more charming, quaint, sweet and welcoming house to stay in if you spent four times as much. The decor is gorgeous, the private rooms were lovely... More

After 10 nights under canvas, this place was just what we needed while we sampled the local wine and beer of Cambria. The staff were great, full of local knowledge and good to chat to, breakfast was excellent and the hostel facilities spot on. I can't remember the host's name, but she hugged us goodbye (you don't get that in... More

We loved our time at the Bridge Street Inn! Brandon, the manager and Ginna and Brian, the interns were all welcoming, inviting and just plain fun. The intimate atmosphere is easy to relax into, make new friends, and find out what's happening in lovely Cambria and the surrounding area. If you are in the the area and you want a... More

Stayed here multiple times. Small rooms but very clean. Nice common room. Wonderful coffee and homemade bread for breakfast. Great location within walking distance of all of Cambria. Easy parking. Nice staff. Great value! Would happily return.

Staying at the Bridge Street Inn is like being at home while I am travelling. Nice brekkie, comfy beds, wonderful knowable host who has the time to tell you about what there is to see and do while you are here. The whole establishment is clean and tidy and very welcoming. A wonderful place to call home for a couple... More

I had a road trip along Pacific Coastal Highway and I stayed at Bridge Street Inn for one night. I love the view at Highway #1 so much that I stopped at the shoulder as frequent as I wish. By the time when we finally reached Cambria, it is already 8pm. We were starved and tired. The staff is very... More

The hostel is in the 115 year old rectory of a church, but it's as though you're staying with family. The private rooms are quaint and cozy. The living/dining room with a stone fireplace gives all the guests a place to gather and share their travel experiences. The staff is charming and sets a welcoming tone for all visitors. The... More

We were lucky and got the last private room. More like a nice B&B then a hostel. The shared shower and toilets plus the kitchen was clean. Staff was very friendly. The place has got real character and a beach volley court! Towels and linen included.
