Our entire soccer team stayed here for a tournament. Everything from the reservations, clean rooms, helpful staff made the weekend enjoyable. Hallmark was walking distance to great restaurants, ice cream shops, UC Davis campus, movie theaters, etc.

I like this hotel a lot. They are extremely friendly and work hard to make you happy. The location in the Davis area is excellent. It's not extravagant (with expensive soaps, etc.), but it's solidly nice, and I am not looking for luxuries-- I want a good night's sleep and a clean room for a reasonable price.

We love staying at the Hallmark Inn when we are in Davis. We have two small kids (ages 2 and 4) and we often come into town by train-- the train station is directly across the street. Rooms can be a bit noisy. But have been updated. We had a nice stay over picnic day weekend. High quality soaps and lotions in the rooms. We enjoyed the complementary daily breakfast and evening reception. We will return next year.
