On our way to METEORA we stopped off en route at the Hotel Lux. The owner, who welcomed us, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Not only was a restaurant recommended to us, but he accompanied us there since we didn't know the area! The twin room was perfect, very clean and with beautiful cotton sheets! I am just sorry we couldn't stay longer to explore the area!

This place ticked all the boxes for us. Wonderful, hospitable and attentive owner. He made us so welcome with gifts of ouzo and delicious olives. He made phone calls for us and guided us to a beautiful restaurant. We were sorry to leave! Bed sheets were very special. Luxury, and such a fair price. I have no hesitation in giving this place ten out of ten!

Nice hotel, very clean, very friendly and helpful owners, good breakfast on the terrace, no own restaurant, Located in a quiet small town off the traffic, about 15 min from Lamia. Not easy to find, GPS recommended We just stayed 2 nights, but everything was very good

Eftaxias greeted us with encouragement to sit on the porch and relax while he took care of he took care of our luggage. It was just what we needed. His lovely daughter brought us some cold water, then he brought us some ouzo and snacks -- including olives from his own grove. Eftaxias truly went above and beyond for us when he helped us resolve a travel snafu we had made regarding our future travel plans in Greece. He said, "Let me do this for you," and he did! He called our next hotel, our car rental company, etc. and resovled our problems. Additionally, he printed maps and directions for our next stop. Our room was clean as were the linens and towels and the air conditioning was wonderful after traveling in the heat! Though younger than the rest of the crowd, my husband and I even took a bath in the healing waters at the spa. It was a memorable experience and Eftaxias gave us passes that said we didn't need to have a doctor's prescription to experience the pool just once. I highly recommend the Hotel Lux!…

So, it was early in the morning, about before dawn, and we lost our way with GPS after a night drive and... just call a owner that we get lost, he find us and put us in his hotel. The room, we were reserved, was air-conditioned, without mosquitos (it was August) and we slept as a children. So, only minus of this capacity is marks from Lamia main road to Loutra. Clean family run hotel, very nice owner. In the morning when I said to him sorry about inappropriate phone call - he said "Thats my job! Come again!" Certanly, we will!
