Keep in mind, you are in the Yosemite National Park area, so businesses will gouge you good. I have stayed in better hotels for FAR less; this place was $179/night for a smallish room, small deck, spa tub, and the world's worst shower head. The hotel is 10 or so miles south of Yosemite and has great parking right at... More

Stayed here for two night's while visiting Yosemite, this was booked through virgin holidays. On checking in we were told wifi was $9.99 and only available in the lobby, this is pretty poor given most budget places offer free wifi. The so called spa is a dirty indoor pool and tiny jacuzzi. We had lunch at the grill and they... More

This hotel is very clean and spacious, it is for about 20 minute from yosemite national park, very good choice for sleep and visit the park, if you don't get reservation into the park hotels, or in the town outside of the park

We stayed here in November for 2 nights whilst visiting from the UK heading towards San Fransisco. We had read the reviews beforehand and were not sure what our trip would be like. However it was brilliant!! The staff were great especially Jason the barman. He worked so hard and was great at his job. The location was one of... More

Given that this is a small town hotel I think it exceeds expectations. My friend and I stayed for two nights, loved the fact we had a large fridge for storage. The shower in the bathroom was great, the rooms were very spacious and it was lovely to step outside in the morning and have breakfast with such lovely surroundings.... More

Cedar Lodge has somewhat of an adversarial relationship with its guests. There is an extra charge for internet services, which is about $9 for 24 hour access, but it is only available in the lobby area and the lobby is not open 24 hours a day. Using the ice machines to fill up your cooler is not allowed. We did... More

Having read the reviews of the Lodge before booking, I have to say I was a little concerned. I needn't have been. Our room was huge - king size bed, giant bath that could have fit at least 4 people in it, spacious shower. Everything was clean. Shampoo and soap were provided. The water pressure was incredible in the shower,... More

Stayed for 3 nights during a stay to Yosemite. This hotel is about 12 miles outside of the park but it excellent value for money and the drive never gets boring. Rooms are spacious and adequate in a motel fashion. They were also acceptably clean. There is a bar and restaurant onsite, along with pool and spa. There is also... More

This place ticks the boxes for people who want to visit Yosemite. It is very basic but considering you are in a place where you'll be spending most of the time outdoors this hotel represents good value and is in a pretty good location. The buffet breakfast has enough variety to give you a good start to the day and... More

This would have been a perfect stay if the hotel had bothered to install wifi facilities. In a world where travellers have become ever so reliant on internet access, in the last few years I personally haven't come across a hotel that doesn't provide not only internet, but free internet service to its customers. Cedar Lodge has become the first.... More
