The Joshua Tree Inn was a real highlight of our vacation. Gorgeous courtyard and pool. Excellent service, even when checking in after hours. The rooms were very unique, the shower was great. Each room had a private sitting area out back. Really fun!

Been there a couple times over the years. Comfortable bed. Great view from the pleasant courtyard. Pleasant staff. And a very unique spot. But, the bathrooms are still tiny, the walls are still cinderblock, the 'private outdoor patio' is barely that and the rooms are still dim. Interesting history. Friendly reception guy. Very mellow courtyard. We did not sleep well. Many knocking on doors in the night, but no one seemed to be there. Infrastructure (wiring, sprinklers) very modern. A bit overpriced.
