We took a tour given by the students at this school and what a tour it was! Instead of taking our ship's tour (we travelled on the Volendam) we opted for this one offered by the school and were delighted to see how people lived in this 3rd world town -- it was an eye opener! The students excited to... More

This place was a really great find in Sihanoukville. It's a hotel school so it's like a proper hotel but with hospitality students running the place. Sure, it's slightly pricier than the other places but it's very clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is the nicest we've encountered so far. No bugs/pests or... More

My friend and I were searching for accommodation in Sihanoukville but none of them were appealing to us until we hit on Don Bosco Hotel School. First of all, by staying here, we are helping underprivileged youths to obtain training in hospitality. Second, because all the staff are students who are receiving training, they are more likely to put in... More

When we arrived in Sihanoukville during Khmer new year every place was overpriced! While we were looking for a restaurant we met the general managers of this Hotelschool . While talking we noticed several similarities because we are fresh graduates of the Hotelschool in the Netherlands. We decided to leave our crappy overpriced guesthouse and stay at the hotelschool. It... More

We stayed here in April 2013. Most accommodation in S'Ville is pretty basic so this initiative that trains Cambodian's in the art of working in a hotel is the reason why we chose this hotel. It is reasonable value as the rooms are ok with tv etc.. The service is pretty good both at the desk and the restaurant. The... More

We were only in Sihanoukville for one day on a cruise, but decided to eschew the ship's tours for one provided by the students and the Don Bosco Hotel school--we are so glad we did! Our enthusiastic guide and two students met us at the cruise ship, took us to see the fishing village, the waterfall (kind of disappointing in... More

We were on a cruise ship that stopped here for the day and we were lucky enough to have 3 wonderful tour guides from the hotel school come and take us around for a full day trip. We started off the morning in a wonderfully air conditioned van. There were 7 of us from the ship, three tour guides, and... More

We needed to stay somewhere closer to town than Otres 2 for an early bus, and I couldn't face anywhere round Serendipity beach, so thought we'd treat ourselves - best decision ever. Huge, immaculate room and bathroom, comfy bed, spotless linen. Nice pool to watch the sunset in. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was weirdly quiet as the... More

What a great decision we made to book our ten days in Sihanouk Ville at Don Bosco. Difficult to describe and something to be experienced. To be able to contribute to and to watch in action so many young Cambodians striving to reach their goals was a wonderful experience. Lovely, lovely people who deserve all they can achieve. Not forgetting,... More
