My husband and I stayed in the Garret Room at Glendeven on May 15th for one night. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and since we had windows on 3 sides, we were able to greatly enjoy them. We loved the llamas, the chickens, and the goat statues on the front lawn that apparently come to life at night. The personalized... More

We stayed here on our anniversary and had an amazing time. The wine barn was a nice touch. We enjoyed walking the property and feeding the chickens. We stayed in Etta's suite in the farm house. I highly recommend the Farm to table dinner paired with the suggested wines. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We stayed in the Briar Rose (again!) and thoroughly enjoyed the Farm-to-Table dinner. There were only six of us, and it was intimate and delicious! We hiked right from the property down into Van Damme State Park, and then onto the beach, up to Glendeven Trail Cottage and back to the Inn.

Although the rooms were beautiful, we would probably not stay here again. We too stayed at the loft above the wine bar and there was a great deal of room to spread out. The rooms were beautiful and clean, although the carpet was a bit "old." Unfortunately the B & B was right on CA-1 and there was road noise... More

Thank you for taking the time to write, we always appreciate all feedback! To our future guests, we post a map of the property showing location in comparison to the views and to the road etc. In the Barn Loft, there is only one window that faces west toward the road, so there is little transfer of noise that way.... Any stay at Glendeven is a truly marvelous and romantic experience. We have been fortunate guests of the inn several times over the last few years, ( through 3 innkeepers in fact!), but like a fine wine, the inn has only gotten better over time. Each stay has been more magnificent than the last. Since John and Michael have taken... More

While the Glendeven Inn proper has gotten many positive reviews here, I want to warn travelers away from the Beach Trail Cottage, which is down the road from the main inn, and run by Glendeven as a stand-alone booking (no breakfast, no maid service). While the setting is gorgeous and private, the cottage itself has not been properly updated and... More

Dear future guests, we hope you took this review for what is worth, as we have. The only reason I have let some time go by before responding was because I have disputed this review with TripAdvisr as it does not meet their standards; it was used as to extort a discount from us after this guest checked out. And... More

We've now stayed twice at the Glendeven Inn/Inn at Cobbler's Walk and have already booked our third trip. The rooms are updated, very tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. The grounds are picturesque and so relaxing. We stayed in the loft above the Wine Barn with our in laws and had lots of room to spread out, and enjoyed the nice,... More

What an absolute gem of a place is Glendeven Inn. We've stayed elsewhere in the beautiful Mendocina area, but will never go anywhere but Glendeven from now on. Wonderful gourmet breakfast delived to the room, chickens to chat with, lamas to stare at -- plus a spacious, comfortable room (East Farmington) with a fireplace. Glendeven has it all and we... More

We were beyond pleased with our trip to Glendeven Inn! The personal touch is evident from the moment you pull in to the driveway, and continues throughout the stay. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Wine Bar(n) Loft with our 2 teenagers, and could not have been happier with the accomodations! Plenty of room for all of us,... More

We have returned to the Glendeven on every vacation in northern California. Every time we visit we have a great time. And we seem to always find something new that becomes one of the highlights of our California trip. On this visit, I think there were a couple of highlights. We got to feed the llamas - twice! It was... More
