I stayed 3nights at this hotel. The lobby was being renovating, and also the gym.The staff was very friendly...I was upset with the cable channel line up..Not enough channels for me...The spa/sauna rooms looked very peaceful. Unfortunately I did not have time for a massage. I suggest to pay extra for the 24hr valet service. Hotel is in little Tokyo,... More

Location, Location, Location! Right in the heart of the only place I like in all of Los Angeles, Little Tokyo! The Miyako is affordable by L.A. standards and is clean, comfortable & more than convenient if you're there to enjoy the most authentic slice of Japan outside of Tokyo. Give yourself a real treat and stay New Year's Eve and... More

The executive King room was adequate, but this suite was very small. Upon arrival, I called the front desk to inquire about upgrading to a larger room and was informed that we were in their largest suite. The sitting chair was crammed between the bed and the window wall. The room was clean and the bathroom was better than average.... More

This was our third stay at the Miyako, and the hotel and staff continue to offer a pleasant experience. We originally chose Miyako because it's close to Union Station, but we continue to return because it's comfortable, very clean, and the staff is outstanding. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful, the neighborhood offers many excellent restaurants and interesting... More

In the heart of Little Tokyo, the Miyako offers a perfect blend of culture, convenience, comfort, and cuisine. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms quiet and clean, hotel staff friendly, and the Japanese breakfast is a treat. MOCA Geffen and the Japanese American National Museum are across the street and the Japanese Village with great shops and restaurants is... More

If you are looking for a hotel close to Union Station, this is a good choice. Staff was friendly. The room looked exactly like the picture online! Remarkable! Very posh and comfortable. Large bathroom with plenty of complimentary mini-toiletries. The breakfast buffet wasn't great, but edible. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast in the lobby. And my room... More

We found the hotel easily accessible by public transport from the airport. We took the Flyaway bus from LAX to Union Station, followed by a one-stop journery via the Metro Gold line. Stayed for four nights. Room was clean and quiet, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. Eating options available around the hotel... More

Love the little tokyo area, and this (modern) Japanese-style hotel fitted right in. Staff were very friendly and helpful in person (though less so when I tried to skype for recommendations on travel from the airport, and the possibility of an early check-in - so all I can say is to give them a second chance). I did get an... More

Reading the reviews, there must be very different rooms all over this hotel. My experience was pretty negative. For my one-night stay: Good: Front desk, valet and cafe staff excellent. In fact, I dealt with two valet staff, one on arrival and one on departure. Both were extraordinarily helpful and charming. Bed was very comfortable, room safe a good size... More
