I travel to LA for business and my first choice for hotel is always Hotel Roosevelt. For years I've been staying here and every time I enjoy the hotel. With some oversized room and great ambiance, this is truely the hotel for me. More

I was told I would be staying at the Hotel Roosevelt, and I immediately checked TripAdvisor to see the reviews. After reading, I was a bit anxious mainly because the majority complain about noise into the late hours of the night. The rooms are big, big TV, big bed, great air conditioner, minibar, hairdryer, safe (not so big, if your laptop is to big, it doesn't fit in), iron + board, enough towels, and an alarm with i-pod docking station, phone. Negatives: Nearly every hotel on TripAvisor has some reviews that complain about noise. The Roosevelt is in a different league. The partying noise (both from other rooms and from the hotel pool bar) was intense until 2 or 3 in the morning. The hallway smelled a bit.
