Close to Van Nuys airport. Is't a unique place with old aviation decorations. There is a replica 747 hanging from the ceiling in the lobby. The staff is friendly and fast. Good full breakfast buffet.

My wife and kids (9 and 13) stayed here for one night on our way to disneyland. Nice pool area and nice rooms. Motel is directly adjacent to (buts up against razer wire) Van Neys airport. Situated on the east side of the parallel runways (16L and 16R) at the famous Van Nuys airport you have a great view of the busy airport. VNY is a private aviation airport only, but the variety of business jets and propeller driven planes is terrific. I never new there were so many Gulfstream jets flying at any one time....

We stayed here because it is near my son's new house and will be convenient when we visit. It is well worn and in need of serious updating, but to their credit they have signs up about the renovation currently underway. The overall service at the hotel was very good. I had specific dietary requirements and the kitchen staff made special provisions for me throughout my stay and this was highly appreciated.
The concierge (Loreto Ylagan) was very friendly and provided advice and guidance on travelling around Los Angeles.
