Very disappointed....I never had to pay $45 for a rv site with no shower...yes...if you arrive after 4pm you will not be able to take a shower, until 8am the following day! This is absolutely ridiculous. We phoned up to let them know that we'd be arriving around 7pm and they obviously didn't mention a word about the showers. On... More

We stayed at High Sierra RV park and Nichol was very helpful in setting up our new TV set in the RV. The park is on the river. The RV park is also very clean and quiet. The park has trees, ducks. Stores are close by easy drive to town. Yosemite park south entrance is 16 miles from the campground.

Kids enjoyed the beach/volleyball area..I was impressed with how clean the bath/showers were..nice relaxing place to take the whole family, the ladies kathy and Nichol were very helpful and made our stay a great expierience. We will be going back when my daughter gaduates and bringing her friends here for another super vacation time. It is just a cute little... More

This place is okay to stay. the only pros about the place is the river going and the greenery around from winter spring is the best time to visit. the bathrooms are okay.the cons--there is only 1 toliet in the showers. they have some black mold in the corners and look like they are being renovated. if you dont mind... A disappointment. Quality of the site far away from the web site display and far away from Yosemite Valley center (at least 45mi of whiny road away from the RV park). My mistake anyway should have not camped outside the South entry of the park.

Other than dry camping in the park itself, which is hard to get, you will still have a good drive to anything you want to see in Yosemite from just about any private campground. We stayed here a month in our motorhome. The staff, Kathy, Nicky & Donna were very friendly & helpful. My biggest compliant would be the size... More

The family wanted to visit Yosemite so we found the closest RV park to the south entrance that had full hook-ups because inside Yosemite is nothing but dry camping. This place is right in the middle of town but they've managed to keep some of the forest feel so it's not like camping in a parking lot like some parks.... More

We stayed at High Sierra RV over Memorial Day week. We knew Oakhurst well and thought this was a great location close to Yosemite without all the hassles! The website pictures looked great, but had read some of the bad reviews so we weren't sure what to expect. We booked corner tent site 15a which was featured in pictures in... More

Stayed and visited the area with my spouse this past Memorial Day Weekend and had passed the turnout because the sign located in front of the Valero gas station was so small. The RV spaces are very close, and as we opened our door, there was the picnic table of the party next to us. Expect to pay $5 everytime... More

When we were planning a trip to Yosemite we decided that campervanning would be the way to go and decided to stay in Oakhurst - even though we knew the drive in each day was a bit of a chore. Note - a campervan is not an RV, but a converted van that has a bed, storage and cooking facilities... More
