Pinecrest is a beautiful area and we were satisfied with our accommodations. We didn't have high expectations for our cabin, but everything was acceptable. The staff worked with us and we were able to stay in a beautiful Chalet. Even though there were kids running around during the day it was not an issue - the kids playing was a comforting sound. It was very quiet at night and we enjoyed the little creek running below our chalet.

We stayed for two nights in one of the small cabins with what is called a pyramid bed. The minimum we expected was a comfortable bed, but it had a very uncomfortable mattress.
