We stayed here because I remember staying here as a kid in 1974. Still a wonderful location, but the management has really spruced things up. The cabins are very nice inside with fully stocked kitchens and marvelously soft beds! There were also about 7 pillows on each double bed. Simple but nice playground for the kids including a tether-ball that... More

We stayed her during Thanksgiving and while I agree the managment was not warm and fuzzy we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. On their website they said the rates went up to $185.00 for the cabin we stayed in that we got for $80.00, Would never spend that much. Our cabin was clean and the kitchen very... More

We stayed in Cabin 12 which had a very comfortable King size bed. It was in the back of the resort and so very quiet. Perhaps in the summer it could be not as quiet,as we were next to the areas where the tent sites would be, but for end of season it was perfect. No noise from the street,... More

We had the opportunity to stay while on a trip up the coast. The location was good as it was right on Ave of the Giants. Sadly the businesses across the road were closed down which made the "town" appear a bit sad and depressing. The property itself was roomy and very clean. We were also able to stay with... More

Good, basic accommodation right on the avenue of the giants. they don't have many extras, and the soap and shampoo are in dispensers in the shower, but it serves its purpose. It is a good place to stay with a family.

Friends and I traveled to the area by motorcycle to see the redwoods. Booked our cabin several weeks in advance, requesting one of their larger units that had three beds; a twin, double and king. When we arrived we were notified there was a problem with the unit and would we mind staying in one with two doubles and a... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 4 kids. We stayed in cabin #2 which accomodated all 6 of us nicely. The master bedroom had a king size bed which I loved, the next bedroom had a queen bed plus a twin bed, and the front living area had a futon/couch which turned into a bed. The... More

A great choice for a couple days on the Avenue of the Giants. Cute, rustic cabins, comfy bed, clean. Atmosphere of the resort fits the outdoor surrounding in the spectacular redwoods. I enjoyed coffee and reading on the porch mornings and evenings Wifi worked well with my Mac. Some cabins have little kitchens; mine had a microwave & refrig. Bring... More

Bed was pretty good. It was pretty clean. And it's very close to the park. Those are 3 big pluses going for it. Heater in the room was one of those units where if you leave it on for more than 5 mins. you get a huge headache. They also allow pets and have a very reasonable pet fee. But... More

We were there in the off-season so the price was pretty good. It was clean and comfortable although a bit small. Great location and very friendly staff. One note is that if you are looking for a cabin in order to avoid sharing walls (we have young kids) they are actually duplexes and you might have a neighbor. In our... More
